Cyber Network Modeler, Junior Job

Basic Qualifications:
-1 years of experience with telecommunications, data networking protocols, and technologies, including IP, ATM, or MPLS
-1 years of experience with presenting, briefing, or communicating analytical research material
-1 years of experience with constructing and analyzing network models using OPNET
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BS degree in CS, EE, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related telecommunications field
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with working in a telecommunications, consulting, or technical services company
-Ability to work effectively with a staff of various technical competency levels
-CCNA or CCNP Certification a plus
Clearance:

Key Role:
Work with a team to create and analyze cyber network models in OPNET. Assist the team with analyzing and evaluating the performance of networks composed of technologies, including IP, MPLS, ATM, and Frame Relay. Collect and interpret client network data for input into networking models. Evaluate modeling results and network performance metrics to assist with evaluating proposed network upgrades. Contribute to methodological development to solve complex analytic problems. Document and present analysis results and findings to clients. This position is located in Annapolis Junction, MD.
