Description
Key Role:
Serve as a Joint Information Operations (IO) policy and doctrine analyst for the Joint staff in support of Global Operations IO. Provide analytical support for the formulation of Joint IO policies, strategies, and doctrine, including Joint publications on Cyber, IO, and CJCS instructions and manuals. Coordinate with US combatant commands, Joint Task Force elements, and Joint IO centers to ensure CJCS IO directives are being correctly implemented. Provide subject matter expertise on Joint IO career force education, training, and experience requirements. Support the administration of the DoD IO Education Board of Advisors and participate in the DoD Quadrennial Defense Review's IO Sub-Working Group. This position is located in Arlington, VA.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: (Required)
-3+ years of experience with Military Information Operations (IO)
-Knowledge of Joint IO doctrine, including the JP 3-13 elements covering electronic warfare, operations security, Military deception, and psychological operations
-Knowledge of DoD IO policies for the IO career force and Joint IO education
-Knowledge of service macro-level IO and cyber doctrine
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications: (Preferred)
-Experience in a combatant command
-MS degree in Information Systems and Operations from a Naval Postgraduate School
-Graduate of Joint Forces Staff College Joint IO Orientation Course, the Joint IO Planners Course, or the NATO IO Course in Oberammergau
-Completion of the National Defense University IO Concentration Program or the Joint Forces Staff College Joint Advanced Warfighting IO Track Course
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
