Cyber Information Assurance Manager/Certification and Accreditation Security Engineer Job

Basic Qualifications:
-7 years of experience in IT
-3 years of experience as an information assurance manager with DCID 6/3 Certification and Accreditation
-Active TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree
-DoD 8570.1-approved Technical Level III Certification
Additional qualifications:
-Experience in interfacing with clients and IT staff
-Experience with policy development
-Experience with briefing project details to technical and non-technical stakeholders
-Knowledge of "Defense-in-Depth" and other information security principles and associated supporting technologies
-Knowledge of a variety of hardware and software security capabilities and features
-Ability to identify and document security requirement conflicts and collaborate with team leads, clients, engineers, and developers.
-Ability to conduct systems assessments to determine alignment with functional and security requirements
-Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph preferred
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Key Role:
Support to the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process for all client systems and networks and ensure a valid and accurate review of all associated documentation. Serve as an Information Assurance Officer (IAO) or an Information Assurance Manager Agent (IAM-A) for client networks in accordance with DoD, DCID, and IC instructions and directives. Provide management and security oversight in the remediation of inadvertent disclosures of intelligence data and coordinate actions and response with established IA hierarchy as recorded in agency, IC, and DoD doctrine. Create, review, modify, and oversee the implementation of instructions and policies related to IA practices and procedures for client networks, systems, and users. This position is located in Hanover, MD.
