Cyber NetOps Planner and Policy Analyst, Senior Job

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience in working with policy, strategy, and cooperation programs issues for the DoD

-Experience with Military operations in combat arms as an O-5 in a Military service

-Experience in working with the Joint Staff or a Combatant Command Head Quarters

-Experience with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Department of Navy, or Department of Air Force at the Pentagon

-Experience with Joint Operations Plans and Execution System (JOPES), Joint Strategic Planning System (JSPS), or Crisis Actions Plans (CAP)

-Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Information Assurance, Computer Network Defense, or Information Operations

-Knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES) with an emphasis on program and project funding assessment

-Possession of excellent oral and oral communication skills

-BS degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, Accounting, or Finance preferred

-Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

-CompTIA Security Plus Certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Key Role:

Provide analytical support for the coordination, management, and execution of Information Assurance (IA) and NetOps policy and strategy and cooperation programs issues for the DoD IA community, Department of Homeland Security, other US government departments and agencies, allies, and coalition partners. Assist with the development of cyberspace or Joint Military Operations and IA and Computer Network Operations (CNO) planning and procedures that support DoD Global Information Grid (GIG) cooperative efforts that sustain Net-Centric and GIG NetOps initiatives. Coordinate and develop Computer Network Defense and IA operational and exercise plans annexes and programs in support of the USCYBERCOM, DoD Cyberspace, and IA programs, including the development of operational plans at the department and Combatant Command level of support for existing GIG protection and community of interest working groups. Develop processes and procedures for new and emerging relationships and task execution for cooperative events and activities. Assist with the coordination of cyberspace operations-related issues with the Combatant Commands, Military services, DoD agencies, foreign Military partners, and other federal and civilian agencies. Participate in meetings with Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and other USG department representatives and assist them with presenting views at OSD, US Strategic Command, and related meetings. This position is located in Hanover, MD.
