Cyber PKE Security Engineer, Mid Job

Basic Qualifications:

-2 years of experience with PKI technology in the defense, civil, or commercial market space

-Knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and Microsoft operating systems

-Knowledge of the Microsoft Networking environment and product suite

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Smart Card

-Experience with the Microsoft Certification authority

-Experience with Certificate Validation products, including Tumbleweed and CoreStreet

-Knowledge of DoD approved Digital Forms Signing utilities and Data-at-Rest Encryption utilities

-Ability to self manage and deliver on assignments and small tasks

-BS degree in an Engineering-related field preferred

Key Role:

Develop and test technologies and technical solutions to develop or assist with the implementation of DoD PKI and related initiatives as a key member of Booz Allen's Public Key Enabling (PKE) engineering team supporting DoD clients. Troubleshoot existing implementations and propose methods for the resolution of technical issues. Work as a key member of an experienced and diverse secure engineering team in a dynamic environment. Analyze general network security-related problems and provide support with solving these problems. This position is located in Herndon, VA.
