Cyber PKE Security Systems Engineer, Senior Job

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience with PKI technology in the defense, civil, or commercial market space

-5 year of experience with analyzing general network security-related problems and providing support in solving these problems

-3 years of experience with leading task teams of 5 or more personnel in the development of secure engineering solutions

-Knowledge of the components deployed within network and application architectures and their ability to leverage PKI

-Knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and Microsoft operating systems

-Knowledge of the Microsoft Networking environment and product suite

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Smart Card

-Experience with the Microsoft Certification authority

-Experience with certificate validation products, including Tumbleweed and CoreStreet

-Ability to self manage and deliver on assignments and small tasks

-BS degree in an Engineering-related field preferred

Key Role:

Develop and test technologies and technical solutions to develop or assist with the implementation of DoD PKI and related initiatives as a key member of Booz Allen's Public Key Enabling (PKE) engineering team supporting DoD clients. Troubleshoot existing implementations and propose methods for the resolution of technical issues. Lead small teams and work as a key member of an experienced and diverse secure engineering team in a dynamic environment. Analyze general network security-related problems and provide support with solving these problems. This position is located in Herndon, VA.
