Information Cyber Security Engineer, Senior Job

Basic Qualifications:

-6 years of experience with IT operations and security, enterprise architectural design, and infrastructure security

-Experience with countermeasures

-Experience with shell scripting

-Experience with the Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), and Intrusion Detection Prevention (IDP)

-Experience with the Security Event Monitor (SIM/SEM)

-Experience with vulnerability management, including Nessus and Retina

-Experience with wireless security

-Knowledge of network visibility, including network awareness and network behavioral

-Knowledge of security philosophies and disciplines

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with determining system, network, or infrastructure security requirements and controls against various industry guidance and best practices, including FISMA, Trusted Internet Connection (TIC), FIPS, NIST, DIACAP and DITSCAP, IEC/ISO, and IEEE

-Experience with supporting government certification and accreditation (C&A) activities

-Experience with ISO 27001 and ISO 27002

-Experience as a SANS mentor

-Possession of excellent troubleshooting skills

-Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred

-Cisco, Solaris, or Linux Certifications

-SANS Certifications, including GCFW, GCIA, GWAS, GCUX, or GCWN
