Information Assurance Analyst, Mid Job

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with performing information assurance tasks in operational network environments

-Experience with IT operating systems, including Windows platforms, UNIX-based systems, and Oracle

-Experience with retinal scanning and VMS and OCRS reporting processes

-Experience with performing in-depth log analysis of network information systems audit and event logs identifying the scope of network exploitation

-Knowledge of TCP and IP networks

-Active TS/SCI clearance required

-AA or AS degree required

-Security Certification IAW DOD instruction 8570.1-M

Additional Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with LAN and WAN network services, including firewalls, DMZ's, routers, Active Directory, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), VPN's, PKI, or DNS, configuration and maintenance, network monitoring, and protocol traffic management a plus

-Experience with working in a DoD environment, including Navy IA/CND

-Experience with developing IA processes or Security CONOPS

-Experience as a team lead with Incident Handling and Trend Analysis

-Knowledge of large platform afloat communication suites and information systems management preferred

-Knowledge of DoDD 8500.1, DoDI 8500.2, DoDI 5200.40, DoDI 5239.13, and other IA guidance

-CISSP, CISM, or GSLC Certification preferred

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Key Role:

Provide information assurance (IA) analysis to the NETWARCOM Office of Compliance and Assessments. Perform duties, including analysis of Blue Team assessment efforts, site support to Navy commands scheduled for DISA Command Cyber Readiness Inspections, retinal scan analysis, traditional security reviews, and cyber posture assessments. Conduct periodic systems security scans that monitor and report IA vulnerability alert compliance, and conduct daily security checks of media and systems removals and entry into building sites.
