Modeling and Simulation Analyst Job

Basic Qualifications:
-5 years of experience with Air Force clients
-Knowledge of the planning and execution of AF, other Services and Joint Live, Virtual, and Constructive (L-V-C), and computer-assisted modeling and simulation-related events
-Secret clearance
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with either the US government or DoD M&S organizations and environments
-Ability to provide support to Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), DoD, Joint, and AF M&S activities
-Ability to support the appropriate representation of air, space, and cyberspace in M&S
-Ability to apply M&S to explore new warfighting concepts, roles, and missions
-Ability to support the configuration control for and the modernization of selected models
-Ability to establish architectures, interoperable databases, protocols, and standards
-Ability to provide support for the AF repository or access point for M&S knowledge
-Ability to assist with the design, preparation, execution, and analysis of studies focusing on long-term objectives of the armed forces and the security of the US
-BA or BS degree
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Key Role:
Support the top-level Air Force (AF) agency responsible for the implementation, integration, and support of AF, Joint, and DoD modeling and simulation (M&S) efforts. Use and develop the ASCCE suite of tools to compose models and simulations. Support efforts at various simulation centers, including Nellis AFB, NV, Hurlburt Field, FL, Korean Air Simulation Center (KASC), Warrior Preparation Center (WPC), Joint Warfare Center (JWFC), National Simulation Center (NSC), and Joint Development Integration Facility (JDIF). Support the simulation centers by providing realistic and doctrinally correct simulations used for training warfighters. This position is located in Orlando, FL.
