Cyber PKI Information Security Engineer, Mid Job

Basic Qualifications:

-2 years of experience with analyzing general network security-related problems and providing support in solving these problems

-2 years of experience with UNIX, Linux, and Microsoft operating systems

-Knowledge of the Microsoft Networking environment and product suite

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft certification authority

-Experience with a certificate validation product, including Tumbleweed and Corestreet

-Experience with PKI technology in the defense, civil, or commercial market spaces

-Ability to deliver security solution presentations

-Ability to self-manage and deliver on assignments and small tasks

-BA or BS degree in Engineering or a related field preferred

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for testing technologies and technical solutions to develop or assist with the implementation of DoD Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and related initiatives as a key member of Booz Allen's PKI Engineering team supporting US Marine Corps clients. Recommend integrated security systems solutions that will ensure proprietary and confidential data and systems are protected. Translate security and business requirements into technical solutions. Configure and validate secure systems and test security products and systems to detect security weakness. Troubleshoot existing implementations and propose methods for the resolution of technical issues. This position is located in Quantico, VA.
