Network Security Cyber Engineer Job

Basic Qualifications:
-8 years of experience with network architectures, software architectures, or software systems development
-Experience with the certification of information assurance (IA) designs
-Experience with DoD IA technologies, including cryptographic and key management
-Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree required
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with application programming, real-time operating systems, CORBA, the SCA, and software-defined radios
-Experience with working on IA solutions for JTRS standards and programs a plus
-Experience with working on IA solutions for the DoD Global Information Grid preferred
-Experience with DITSCAP and DIACAP Certification and accreditation preferred
-Experience as a retired Military professional a plus
-Experience with management
-Knowledge of HAIPE specification or products a plus
-Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Key Role:
Provide technical support for the design and development of a DoD network enterprise system. Serve as a subject matter expert on a development team to ensure that the architecture, system requirements, and software developed by the subcontractor meets NSA certification requirements. Maintain responsibility for determining the software architecture requirements for future DoD net-centric COMSEC systems and establish strategies and technology roadmaps for developing common network services and network management systems that will interconnect legacy and IP-based networking waveforms. Coordinate with key government agencies, support staffs, and subcontractor representatives to ensure project execution. Interact frequently with senior-level leadership and subcontractors in a team environment and across multiple commands within the DoD. This position is located in San Diego, CA.
