Description
Key Role:
Support the Anti-Drug Network (ADNET) with maintaining ADNET systems in a federal government facility. Maintain Microsoft Windows servers and workstations by performing systems administration tasks. Perform Gold Disk and Retina scans, mitigate results, review IAVM notices, apply appropriate patches, and assess the security of workstations and servers. Maintain responsibility for maintaining the ADNET network infrastructure components in coordination with ADNET network engineers. This position is located in Washington, DC.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-4+ years of experience in the fields of systems administration and information assurance (IA)
-2+ years of experience with DoD or federal network, systems, and security engineering standards and practices
-2+ years of experience with performing vulnerability scanning, testing, analysis, management, and mitigation
-2+ years of experience with administering active directory, group policies, Windows Server 2003, and XP
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
-DoD 8570 compliant IA Certification, including Security+ or CISSP
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with using standard DoD IA Tools, including Retina, Hercules, Gold Disk, or HBSS
-Experience with configuring or monitoring firewalls or IDS
-Experience with Windows Server 2008 a plus
-Experience with DoD or federal programmatic processes and organizations
-Certified Microsoft Engineer
-CCNA or CCNE Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
